Effect of Herbicide Application on Weed Dynamics in Pigeon Pea Based Cropping System under Rainfed Situations of Madhya Pradesh

A field experiment was conducted to evaluate the role of intercrops in respect weed suppression and chemical methods for effective control pigeon pea green gram based intercropping systems.The aim this stydy assess most suitable management practices pigeonpea + system.Results revealed that relative density dicot weeds lower than monocot did not show any significant effect on dynamics systems whereas, application Pendimethelin @ 1.0 kg ai Imazethapyr @0.1 ai/ha significantly minimum density, dry weight maximum efficiency recoreded compared weedy plot at 25, 50 75 days after sowing (DAS). This might be due reduction competition.
